Halloween & Flipped Class!

Hello! How are you?

Last week we started the class listening to Lucía. She was with ‘Little Flame’, our dragon and she told us what they did together. Look! Here they are.

Then, we checked homework.

How many things you have in your bedroom!

·         There is a lamp on the bedside table.

·         There isn’t a book on the floor.

·         There are three pencils on the desk.

·         There are clothes in the wardrobe.

We use ‘There is a’ with only one thing. We use ‘There are’ with more than one thing, two, three etc.

We ask:

How many chairs are there in the classroom? There are seven chairs.

We reviewed prepositions: In, on, under, in front of, behind

We played ‘I spy’ and watched a video of a cat playing that game.

Then, we played a Halloween ‘I spy’ on the laptop.

We had to guess the things in a haunted house

And we had a surprise! We had a Flipped Class!

What’s that? The teachers were kids from another class. Some of you stayed in class with me and our little teachers and others went to another class. We swapped (changed) teachers and mixed students. They played games with us and after that we made Halloween crafts all together!
