A Visit to our Friends' New House!

Hello kids! How are you?

Yesterday, we started the class with Raúl telling us what he and Little Flame did together last week.

After that, I listened to your presentations about the rooms in your house that you described.

We reviewed the vocabulary about objects and furniture in the house.

We role-played a dialogue.

The Wilsons family go to visit the Green’s new house. The Greens and the Wilsons are friends.

The Greens live in a big house near the town. It isn’t so near as the old house.

The new house has nine rooms: a hall, a dining –room, a living-room, a kitchen, two bathrooms and three bedrooms: one for Mr. and Mrs. Green, one for Jane and one for Philip.

In the Green’s new house, the living- room is as big as the dining-room. (The same. The dining –room is 40m² and the living-room is 20m²)

Philip likes Tom’s room because it’s as funny as a zoo. Why? Because a monkey lives there!

Apart from the house, we talked about the families.

 We listened to the description of a boy’s family.

·         His father is tall.

·         His twin sister is pretty.

·         His mother has got fair hair and brown eyes.

·         His baby brother has got a big nose and small ears.

And we finished the class playing ‘hangman’

We are going to continue with family and descriptions next day.
